Iso 14644 1 2015 specifies the classification of air cleanliness in terms of concentration of airborne particles in cleanrooms and clean zones. Whereas cleanliness standards were once defined by the federal standard 209e they have been replaced and simplified by iso with classifications 1 to 9. This means the latest version always applies.
